About the Climbing Tour

Day 1: Depart from La Paz and hike to Condoriri base camp at Ch’iyara Quta Lagoon at 4,700m.

Day 2: Hike to Pico Austria at 5,300m for acclimatization and stunning views of Condoriri mountain group and Lake Titicaca.

Day 3: Summit Little Alpamayo at 5,350m with views of Condoriri Mountains group, then descend back to base camp and return to La Paz.

Itinerary of the Tour

🌞 Day 1 —

La Paz - Tuni - Campo Base Condoriri

We leave la paz at 09:00 a.m. After two and a half hours of travel we arrive at riconada, where we leave the vehicle.

After some preparations with the mules, we started a two-hour walk to the condoriri base camp – ch’iyara quta lagoon at 4,700 m. where we spend the night.

Day 2 ―

Hiking Pico Austria 5.300m

This day after breakfast we start with the hike to the austrian peak for better acclimatization in 3 hours and a half we climb to the summit, where we have the beautiful visa of the condoriri mountain group and the stunning lake titicaca, then return in 2 hours and a half to base camp where we have dinner and rest.

Day 3 ―

Summit - La Paz

At 00:00 a.m. We prepare the mountain material and after breakfast, we start with the walk to the mountain glacier in 1 hour of trekking, then we leave for the summit of little alpamayo 5.370 m. An ascent of 5 to 6 hours, to the top of where the entire condoriri mountains group is seen, then continue with the 4-hour descent to the base camp of the ch’iyara quta lagoon, then continue with the return melas towards rinconada and take the vehicle back to the city of La Paz.
