During this tour, we will enjoy the amazing nature, ecosystem, and unique features that this pristine place preserves.

During your stay in this location, you will be accommodated in an Eco Lodge that blends seamlessly with nature, where you can observe different types of birds, monkeys, and on our journey into nature, caimans and anacondas.

Navigating the Yacuma River is a unique experience as we may have the opportunity to see parrots, turtles, and even pink dolphins depending on the season.

Upon returning to civilization, you will take with you beautiful memories of the peaceful and calm experience that this place offers to all its visitors.

 

About the Tour

Day 1: 3-hour drive to Santa Rosa del Yacuma, observing wildlife and birds, Lunch at a local restaurant, Boat ride on the Yacuma River to spot birds, monkeys, and alligators, Overnight at an eco lodge, Night boat ride to spot alligator eyes with flashlight.

Day 2: Early morning walk to watch sunrise and birds, Breakfast at the lodge, 3-hour walk in Pampas del Yacuma to spot anacondas and animals, Lunch at the lodge, Motor boat ride to spot pink dolphins and/or dolphins (swimming optional), Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Breakfast at the lodge, Boat ride to fish for piranhas (optional), Return to the lodge for lunch, Prepare luggage for departure , Boat ride back to the port and transfer back to Rurrenabaque (3 hours)

End of activities.

Also this tour is flexible and can be adjusted based on group interest. The minimum number of participants required is two people.

Itinerary of the Tour

─ Day 1 ─

Rurrenabaque + Santa Rosa Port + Eco Lodge

09:30 am Departure from Rurrenabaque, travel 3 hours by car to the town of Santa Rosa del Yacuma. During the trip, we will be able to observe a great variety of birds and animals, among which the alligators, capybaras and sloths stand out.

Arrival to Santa Rosa and lunch at a local restaurant Transfer to the Yacuma River where we will start a boat ride on the river (Yacuma where you can see birds, monkeys, two species of alligators, turtles, capybaras and beautiful views of the Pampas landscapes.

Arrival at the hostel accommodation in their respective rooms. Boat trip to watch the sunset, and a unique opportunity to take pictures Dinner Night boat ride. Equipped with a flashlight we will go in search of alligator eyes and then return to the lodge to rest.

Day 2 ―

Pampas del Yacuma + Eco Lodge

05:30 am We will go out on a short walk to watch the sunrise, watch birds and the cry of the howler monkeys. Breakfast at the Lodge. 3 hour walk through the Pampas del Yacuma in search of the famous anaconda, and the behavior of animals in this fragile ecosystem.

Return to the Lodge Lunch at the Lodge Break.

Departure by motor boat in search of pink dolphins or dolphins. During this activity you will have the possibility to swim with the dolphins, Return to the Lodge.
Dinner and rest.

Day 3 ―

Pampas del Yacyma + Rurrenabaque

07:30 am Breakfast at the Lodge We will start a boat ride to fish for piranhas. This activity is optional and can be replaced by searching for animals, mainly monkeys and pink dolphins.

After carrying out the fishing activity, we will return to the Lodge.

Lunch at the hostel and preparation of luggage for the return.

Boat trip back to the port (2 hours approx.). Transfer to the vehicle and return trip to Rurrenabaque takes 3 hours Arrival to Rurrenabaque.

Our tour is designed to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including birds, monkeys, sloths, alligators, capybaras, and more. We also have a chance to spot pink dolphins or dolphins during the boat ride.

Yes, we offer optional swimming with dolphins (It depends on whether the dolphins appear) or other water activities during the boat ride. However, please note that this is subject to change based on weather conditions and dolphin behavior.
