Amazing Full Day on Charquini

It is one of the most easily accessible mountains for enjoying both snow and hiking in just one day.

Charquini is a mountain with a height of 5,390 meters located in the department of La Paz, Bolivia. It is close to Huayna Potosí and has simple routes for climbing. It is ideal for hiking in the base area. It’s a slightly longer adventure, usually in time and distance, with some challenges along the way. The path continues to be of low difficulty, although some technical obstacles may arise to continue the path. It can be up to a height of 5390 m.a.s.l.

08:30 am: Meeting at our office in “La Paz – Bolivia”, located on Sagarnaga Street 308, between Linares and Illampu, in the Rosary zone.

08:45 am: Departure to CHARQUINI. During the journey, we will make stops to take photos at:

Apacheta Pass
Lagoon of Colors
Milluni Cemetery

10:30 am: Arrival at the foothills of Charquini. Trekking (Hike) to the Glacier and Laguna Esmeralda.

12:00 pm: Arrival at Laguna Esmeralda, where we will enjoy a spectacular view of Laguna Esmeralda and the Nevado Charquini.

01:00 pm: Descend on the snow back to the transportation.

2:00 pm: Departure to return to the city.

04:00 pm – 04:30 pm: Arrival at “La Paz City”.
